Paramore Postpones San Francisco Concert Hours Before Showtime ‘Due to Sickness

Paramore was forced to postpone their San Francisco concert at Chase Center on July 22nd, just hours before showtime, due to illness within the touring party.

The band expressed their regret in a statement posted on Twitter, informing fans that the show would be rescheduled for August 7th, 2023. They assured ticket holders that their previously purchased tickets would still be valid for the new date. However, for those unable to attend the rescheduled show, refunds were available upon request, with instructions provided to all ticket purchasers for the next 7 days.

The note announcing the postponement was shared on Chase Center’s social media accounts as well. Despite the setback, Paramore expressed their enthusiasm to see their fans at the next show.

As part of their This Is Why Tour, Paramore’s next concert is scheduled for July 24th at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena. The tour supports their latest studio album of the same name. Additionally, the band has exciting plans ahead, as they are set to wrap up the tour in August and have been announced as a supporting act on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Europe, starting on May 9, 2024.
