Drake & Central Cee Collaborate on Explosive ‘On The Radar’ Freestyle: Watch

Drake and Central Cee teamed up for an electrifying On The Radar freestyle, released on Friday (July 21).

In the first verse, Drizzy delivered fiery lines, “‘Cause we know some demon guys with jealous and evil eyes, You know that’s how Jesus died, you know that’s how Julius Caesar died.” Central Cee followed in the second half with his own intense verse, rapping, “Why you swearing to God? You don’t even believe in Christ.”

The two artists have been linked since 2021, when Central Cee became the face of Drake’s Nike x Nocta collection. The collaboration continued, with Central performing his hit “Doja” during Drake’s private concert in St. Barts. He also appeared in Drake’s “Jumbotron Sh– Poppin” music video. Recently, during his It’s All A Blur tour in NYC, Drake gave a shoutout to Central, referring to him as his “twin.”

On Thursday, Drake teased the freestyle collaboration with Central Cee on Instagram, captioning a promo photo with, “A little exercise on an off day… me and Cench @ontheradarradio loading.”

On the Radar, hosted by Power 105.1 radio personality Gabe P, provides a platform for interviews and freestyles featuring up-and-coming rappers, with a special focus on artists from New York’s drill scene.

Coinciding with the release of Barbie The Album, fellow artist Ice Spice also dropped her On The Radar freestyle, recorded in May 2022, as part of the deluxe edition of her EP, Like..?, released on the same day.
