Adam Handling’s Children: Meet Son Oliver Handling

Adam Handling, a renowned British chef and restaurateur, has been making waves in the culinary world. Born in Dundee, he honed his cooking skills at the prestigious Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland.

Throughout his career, Adam has worked in various kitchens across the UK, holding significant positions such as sous-chef at the Malmaison Hotel in Newcastle, head chef at the Fairmont St. Andrews, and head chef at the St. Ermin’s Hotel in London.

Although he initially didn’t plan to become a chef, his passion for the dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment quickly developed. He became the youngest Head Chef at Fairmont and was honored as the Scottish Chef of the Year in 2011.

Adam and his wife, Jenny, are proud parents to their son, Oliver Handling, born on April 21, 2018. Oliver arrived six weeks prematurely, and Adam recalls being in tears upon hearing the news while testing salmon in his restaurant, ‘The Frog.’

Despite his busy schedule, Adam cherishes the moments he spends with Oliver. They both share a love for dining out and exploring new restaurants. As Oliver grows, Adam looks forward to going on culinary adventures with him.

At the age of 5, Oliver has chubby cheeks, striking blue eyes, and a smile that melts hearts. When Adam shares pictures of himself at Oliver’s age, the father-son resemblance is undeniable.

It appears that Adam and Jenny have separated, with Oliver primarily living with his mother. Adam makes the most of weekends, taking his son on little trips, such as their visit to Disney.

Adam rose to fame when he participated in MasterChef: The Professionals in 2013, gaining recognition at the age of 25. His culinary philosophy revolves around sustainability and reducing food waste, evident in his flagship establishments, The Frog Restaurant and Eve Bar in Covent Garden.

Throughout his career, Adam has received numerous accolades, including Scottish Chef of the Year, Chef of the Year from the British Culinary Federation, and Restaurateur of the Year at the British GQ Food and Drink Awards 2020.

In 2022, Adam’s Covent Garden restaurant was awarded a Michelin star, cementing his position as one of the most talented and innovative chefs in the industry.
